2022 Summer Swim Team

This summer, for the second year, I was a part of the Congressional Swim and Dive Team, which competes at clubs in Maryland throughout the summer. We competed in dual meets through July, and beat Army Navy, who we haven’t won against for 11 years. We made it to A Division in August. Only the top two swimmers from each team get to swim this event – and this year, I was one of them again! We came second overall (out of five teams) in both the relays and the regular meet.

In CCSDA Championships, we won the freestyle relay, setting a new record! We came third overall (out of 15).

It’s a tradition that every year, the big kids go and toilet paper each of the little kids’ houses, and drop off posters for them, the night before Champs.
