Seven-time Olympic Gold Medalist Katie Ledecky Donates to the WJA Swim Club

During the Fall of 2022, Katie Ledecky participated in a Swim Clinic/Auction for the Mac Crutchfield Foundation.  Mac Crutchfield was a swimmer from Tallahassee who tragically died 14 years ago while playing in a downpour near his home. The foundation was started by Mac’s family, led by his mother Maggie, and raises money for drowning prevention organizations, swimming programs, and special needs swimming.

Maggie Crutchfield gave Katie a donation to help her home club team, to be used to continue to support  learn-to-swim efforts and as a way of spreading Mac’s “vine” across the country, and $500 was donated to the WJA Swim Club!!!

You can follow in Katie’s footsteps and support WJA Swim Club with a donation now!
